After 2 hours, the previously inserted wooden wedges are removed, and the resulting cracks are also foamed. Proper filling with foam is carried out only from the bottom up. In addition, one should take into account the special property of foam: it expands almost 2.5 times.

Upon final drying, the remaining foam that is on the outside is cut off with a knife. For more effective sealing, a vapor-permeable film is glued to this seam, which allows air to pass through, but not moisture.

When installing the frame, experts recommend leaving a small installation gap between it and the opening, which, in turn, will facilitate the “movement” of materials. But at the same time it should be well sealed, since otherwise this will lead to the appearance of a “cold bridge”.

• There is a special groove at the bottom of the frame. The window sill is inserted there and leveled using a building level.
• The gap between the window sill and the wall is filled with foam, and the gaps between it and the window frame are sealed with silicone sealant.
• After the foam has dried, its protruding excess is removed.

Installation and adjustment of sashes

• Prepare the guides: measure the frame horizontally and saw off profiles of the required length. The cut areas are cleaned of roughness using sandpaper or a file.
