Pizza with corn recipe. Mini puff pastry pizza with chicken and corn

I want to show pizza dough without yeast in action by preparing a very tasty and, in my opinion, tender pizza with canned corn, sausage and cheese. The corn “sounded” so well in the filling that there was no pizza in the first 10 minutes after cooking :) And look how the dough has risen, even though it is without yeast! My sauce is simple, homemade, quick - ketchup + mayonnaise. So the ketchup was not spicy, I added ground pepper to this sauce.

To make sausage and corn pizza, first make pizza dough without yeast. Divide the finished dough into three parts of 300 grams each. To prepare this pizza, take a three-hundred gram slice and roll it out, and then place it in a pizza baking tray. Form a side. From the other two pieces of dough you can also make either the same pizza or with different toppings. I prepared all three identical pizzas, but I will indicate the quantity of ingredients for one.

Grease the dough, pizza base, with sauce (ketchup + mayonnaise + ground pepper) and sprinkle with onions (small cubes).

Then lay out the sausage circles and sprinkle them with some aromatic dry herbs. I also sprinkled it with salt, since the sausage I took didn’t have enough salt (I took milk sausage).

Then top the pizza with canned corn.

And at the end, of course, top the pizza with cheese (coarse grater) - what would pizza be without cheese :)?

Bake the pizza for about 15 minutes in an oven preheated to 200 degrees.

That's it - pizza with corn is ready. Try it before it gets cold!

Enjoy your meal!!!

There is no doubt that every housewife has her own homemade pizza recipe, whether from homemade dough or from a ready-made store-bought base. If you have some free time, it is best to make your own pizza crust. There are many options here, depending on taste preferences. Having eaten a small piece of such tasty and fluffy food, you can forget about hunger for several hours. As with any other type of this delicious snack pastry, the composition of the filling can be completely different, from sausage to seafood.

  • Wheat flour – 1 cup.

Pizza with sausage and corn - recipe

Before we begin the recipe for yeast dough, I want to note that it is best to cook it, like any other yeast-based baked goods, with live or, as they are also called, “wet” yeast. The fact is that dry yeast is quite capricious and is not always suitable, especially if the bag with it was stored in inappropriate conditions. Therefore, I recommend giving preference to “wet yeast”. IN warm water Crush the yeast into fine crumbs with your hands.

Add sugar for better fermentation.

Pour in two tablespoons of refined oil.

After this, add salt. Mix everything with a whisk.

Add wheat flour into the dough in portions, stirring constantly.

The dough should turn out quite thick - thicker than for, but at the same time not tight.

Leave it in a warm place for 30 minutes until it rises. To the lubricated one sunflower oil line the mold with yeast dough. Spread it out on all sides so that it is an even layer.

Tomatoes and smoked sausage cut into half rings.

Grease the dough with ketchup or tomato sauce.

Lay out the sausage.

Place tomatoes between the sausage.

Add canned corn. Before you sprinkle the pizza with cheese, you can also pour mayonnaise on top.

Finally, sprinkle the pizza with grated cheese on a medium grater.

Place the pizza pan in an oven preheated to 175 C. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Ready pizza with sausage and corn should double in volume and the cheese will be completely melted.

  • milk or water - 125 ml.

  • dry yeast - 2 teaspoons
  • sugar or honey - 1/2 tbsp. spoons

  • corn kernels, canned or frozen - 1/2 cup
  • thyme, rosemary, savory or other spices to your taste - 1 teaspoon
  • salt - 1 teaspoon
  • mozzarella cheese - 350 gr.
  • ricotta cheese or pasty curd - 250 ml.
  • dried red pepper flakes - 1/4 teaspoon
  • green onions for decoration - 1 feather

How to make pizza with corn and zucchini

1. Heat the oven to 180 degrees. Grease the baking tray vegetable oil or line with baking parchment.

2. First, prepare the pizza dough. Heat milk (or water) to a temperature of 40 degrees, add honey (or sugar), dry yeast and one tablespoon of flour from the total amount. Stir and leave warm for 15 minutes. When a foamy cap appears on the yeast dough, you can start kneading the dough. Combine the dough with sifted flour, pour in vegetable oil, add salt and knead into a firm, elastic dough that does not stick to your fingers. Roll out a round layer 5 mm thick and transfer to a baking sheet.

3. While the dough is rising on the baking sheet, prepare the filling. Pass the garlic through a press, cut the zucchini into thin semicircles. Melt the butter in a frying pan, add the garlic and fry over medium heat for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Then add the zucchini, corn and spices and continue cooking for another 3-4 minutes until the zucchini has softened a little. Add salt and remove from the stove.

4. Spread the ricotta cheese evenly over the surface of the dough, leaving 1 cm from the edge. Place the filling on the dough. Place pieces of mozzarella between the vegetables and place the pizza in the oven for 15 minutes.

When the dough gets thick around the edges and the mozzarella has melted, the corn and zucchini pizza is ready! Remove the treat from the oven, sprinkle with red pepper flakes and finely chopped green onions, cut into portions and start tasting.

Pizza with chicken and corn on yeast dough is quite simple to prepare if you are not preparing it for the first time. For beginners you will need detailed guide. Pizza preparation consists of several important stages: kneading dough, preparing sauce, preparing filling, baking. After preparing pizza according to the same recipe several times, you will start making it “automatically”.

List of ingredients:

  • 1 tsp. without a pile of dry yeast,
  • 0.5 tsp. Sahara,
  • 125 ml warm water,
  • 300 g wheat flour,
  • 1 pinch of salt (for dough),
  • 1.5 tsp. salt,
  • 350 g chicken fillet,
  • 300 g hard cheese,
  • 2 tbsp. l. tomato paste (200 ml tomato juice),
  • 1 onion,
  • 1 sweet pepper,
  • 3 cloves of garlic,
  • 0.5 tsp. dried basil,
  • 2 tbsp. l. olive oil,
  • 100 g canned corn.

Preparation

1. Pour half a glass of water heated to 35-38 degrees into a bowl, add sugar and dry yeast, stir and wait until the yeast begins to act. After 5-10 minutes, a “cap” of foam should rise on the surface of the water.

2. Add sifted flour and add a pinch of salt.

3. Start stirring the dough; if you see that there is not enough flour, add more. Knead into a soft, elastic, slightly sticky dough. Cover it with a damp towel and put it in a warm place to let the dough rise - for an hour or two.

4. While the dough is rising, make the filling. To make the pizza tasty, there must be a lot of cheese. Ideally, it is laid both down and at the very top. Cut the cheese into thin slices or grate it on a coarse grater.

5. Cut the chicken fillet into thin strips or squares.

Video recipe for the occasion:

6. The sauce is very simple to make: saute chopped peppers, onions and garlic in olive oil for 3-4 minutes, then add tomato paste and 100 ml of water. After this, add dried herbs and spices to taste, stir and simmer the sauce over low heat until thickened, about 10 minutes.

7. When the dough has risen, lightly knead it and transfer it to the work surface. Release the air by hitting the center of the dough ball.

8. Line a baking tray with baking paper and grease it with vegetable oil. Place the dough there and stretch it in different directions with your hands. The cake should be thin.

9. Lubricate the pizza blank with the prepared sauce, the more sauce there is, the juicier the pizza will be, however, do not overdo it.

10. Place pieces of cheese on top of the workpiece (2/3 of the total amount). Some of the cheese can be grated to sprinkle on top of the pizza.

11. Lay out the chicken pieces and salt each of them.
