We will need the following products:

  • flour 350 g
  • dry yeast 1.5 tsp
  • sugar 1 tbsp
  • salt 1 tsp
  • water 200 ml
  • olive oil 40 ml

For filling:

  • canned pineapples 150 g
  • chicken fillet 150 g
  • hard cheese 130 g
  • tomato paste

Preparation:

1. Sift the flour through a sieve into a container, thereby saturating it with oxygen, then add dry yeast and mix everything well.

2. Pour sugar, salt, water and olive oil into another bowl, mix everything and gradually add dry ingredients, mix thoroughly. Then sprinkle the table with flour and knead the dough on the table. Cover the dough with a towel and leave for 30-40 minutes.

3. While the dough is resting, boil the chicken fillet in salted water. If you like smoked meats, you can crumble smoked ham into pizza instead of boiled breast. I cook with boiled chicken, sometimes with smoked breast.

4. Cut the boiled chicken fillet and pineapples into pieces. Three cheese on a grater.

5. Divide the dough into two balls. Knead the first one with your hands on a table sprinkled with flour until it forms the same size as your baking sheet.

Take a baking tray or a round mold (whoever has what), sprinkle it with flour and spread the dough evenly.

6. Grease the dough with tomato paste, coat the edges well too!

7. Then lay out the chicken and pineapple pieces and sprinkle grated cheese on top.

8. Place in a preheated oven and bake at 200 degrees for 15-20 minutes. While one pizza is cooking, you can make a second one!

The baked pizza can be sprinkled with fresh herbs of your choice (basil, dill, parsley, green onions).

1. Place yeast in a bowl, add sugar and mix the contents well with a spoon.

2. Then add salt, vegetable oil and add flour in parts.

3. Pour in warm water and the rest of the flour, stir everything well.

4. You may need less or more flour, look at the condition of the dough, it should not stick to your hands.

After kneading the dough, put it in the refrigerator for an hour.

5. Pour flour onto the table and roll out the finished dough with a rolling pin into the desired shape, depending on your baking sheet.

6. Boil the chicken thighs in salted water, then separate them into strips. Cut the mushrooms into thin slices, the onion into half rings, and grate the cheese on a fine grater.

7. Place a sheet of parchment on a baking sheet and spread out the pizza dough. If you don't have parchment paper, you can simply grease the pan with vegetable oil. Grease the dough with tomato sauce.

8. Then lay out the mushrooms.

9. Now chicken, onions and squeeze mayonnaise onto the pizza in a thin stream.

10. Using a spoon, spread evenly over the entire surface so that all the vegetables are covered with mayonnaise and sprinkle cheese on top.

Cooking steps

We start preparing pizza by preparing the ingredients for the filling. To make the filling juicy and not too wet, I recommend boiling the chicken fillet until tender in salted water with a bay leaf. The boiled chicken breast needs to be cooled and cut into thin slices, approximately as in my photo.

You can also use ready-made smoked chicken fillet, but if you are preparing Hawaiian pizza for children, I still recommend that you boil the chicken breast yourself.

Next, peel and cut the pineapple into thin slices. If you are using canned pineapple, try to slice it as thin as possible. For this recipe, choose canned pineapple in pieces - it will be easier to cut. Ideally, of course, it is best to use fresh pineapple - aromatic, with a tropical and unique sweet and sour taste.

Grate the mozzarella cheese using a large grater. We put all the ingredients for our pizza in the refrigerator.

Prepare thin pizza dough:

In a deep plate, mix all the dry ingredients: flour, yeast, salt and sugar.

Add warm water and olive oil.

Then we gather the dough into a ball with our hands and knead it thoroughly with our hands until the ball becomes even and smooth. Cover the dough with a cloth and put it in a warm place to proof for 40 minutes.

In short: grate the tomatoes on a fine grater, preserving the skin as much as possible. If you don’t have fresh tomatoes, don’t worry, use tomato juice without salt and sugar, then you won’t need to grate anything.

Add olive oil, salt, sugar and spices to the grated tomatoes. Mix and put on the stove. Bring the sauce to a boil, simmer for 2-3 minutes, and then add starch. Stir the starch so that it does not form a lump, add the garlic passed through a press and remove the sauce from the stove. We need to wait until the sauce cools to room temperature and acquires the consistency we need.

Roll out and add filling

We take one ball to work, and roll it out on the tabletop using a rolling pin into a circle of 22-25 cm, and cover the rest of the dough with a cloth so that it does not dry out.

Place the dough piece on a baking sheet with baking paper and brush with sauce.

  6. To make the sauce, you need to scald the tomatoes with boiling water, then remove the skin and chop the pulp with a sharp knife. Then add oil, add herbs and salt.
  7. Place the mixture on the fire, boil and cook for five minutes. Then add starch, stir thoroughly and add garlic crushed under pressure. Cook for another minute, then set aside and cool.
