It needs several hours, it is convenient to leave from evening to morning. There is such a flaxseed porridge with gravy (butter whipped with salt and spices). Finely chopped fresh herbs sprinkle flaxseed porridge before use.

How to cook flaxseed porridge in a slow cooker

If you have a slow cooker, then you can cook flaxseed porridge in it. The recipe is extremely simple. Minimum ingredients. It is also necessary to cook flaxseed porridge, of course, not from seeds, but from the flour that is obtained from it (on its own or from a purchased product).

  • crushed flaxseeds (flaxseed flour) - ½ cup;
  • water or milk - ½ liter;
  • sugar or salt to your taste.

We bring milk or water to a boil in a slow cooker (in any mode, the main thing is more than 100 degrees). Pour flaxseed flour into the boiled liquid, salt or sugar, close the multicooker, select the “Porridge” mode on the display.

After the signal that the dish is ready, mix the flaxseed porridge, add a little butter or cream if desired. You can serve flaxseed porridge as a side dish with dried fruits, meat, and vegetables.
