How to decorate a T-shirt with your own hands

Summer is exactly the time when you want to endlessly renew yourself, changing your wardrobe in every possible way. But for this it is not at all necessary to wander around fashion stores all the time and leave all your fortune there. It’s enough to set aside a little time, prepare an old T-shirt and use your imagination. Such a modest set will allow you to shine in new outfits every day. Perhaps this will be the first step towards creating your own fashion line, and your design ideas will not go unnoticed, becoming very popular. And to get started, you can consider the ideas of “experienced” stylists for decorating T-shirts with your own hands.

Try making a beautiful weave on a T-shirt

Perhaps someone is intimidated by the prospect of picking up a needle and thread. Indeed, many women simply hate sewing. But you don't have to pick up a needle to turn a stretched-out T-shirt into a fashionable tank top. It’s enough just to use scissors to trim off all the excess on the T-shirt: the neck, sleeves, part of the neckline - both front and back. It should be a full-fledged T-shirt. Next, all that remains is to decorate the chest with any sticker you like - transfer it using an iron, and fasten the straps with decorative braid, first wrapping them around the back in a tight cord.

Very beautiful and original

Cut out the silhouette...

...attach lace with thermal tape from the inside...

...and glue with a hot iron

You can decorate another one with flounces and lace cut from one T-shirt. To do this, cut strips from a T-shirt are decorated with lace along one edge, and sewn to the base T-shirt on the other. First, the flounces are attached from above, starting from the neck, and then the decoration continues downwards. Moreover, the upper balls are wider, and downwards they become smaller. The result is a kind of picturesque frill. This option is suitable for romantic girls.

You can sew a kind of corset lacing on the back

Beads, stones, buttons...

And of course lace

From T-shirt to T-shirt; lace included :)

An ordinary undershirt can easily be turned into a top that is suitable for both a club and a youth party. You just need to decorate a T-shirt, for example, lilac, with roses made from the same lilac ribbons and beads. It is advisable to use ribbons and beads of different sizes, and make rosettes of different sizes. Such a flowerbed will make the girl simply fragrant.

T-shirt decor ideas

There are many interesting ways to decorate a T-shirt with your own hands. You can either pick up ideas on the pages of glossy magazines or on the Internet, or come up with them yourself. First you need to decide on the clothes that will need to be altered. So, for cutting with scissors, a cotton T-shirt or T-shirt is more suitable, because it will not stretch, fray, and will not lose its shape, unlike stretch models. You will also have to practice to get the perfect result, because what is planned does not always work out the first time. Then you need to decide on the decoration method, prepare the decor and you can start working.

This cute T-shirt can be made from a regular T-shirt and lace ribbon

One option is to decorate the back of an old T-shirt or tank top. After all, in summer an open back looks very sexy and stylish. Gentle romantic girls can make a T-shirt with a huge heart-shaped cutout on the back. To work you will need sharp scissors, chalk, adhesive fabric tape and regular silk tape. First, the T-shirt itself, which has a loose fit, is selected and carefully laid out on the table.

Interesting and stylish idea with a zipper

Next, take a sheet of A3 format and depict a neat oval heart of the required size on it. But to get a proportional heart, you need to fold the paper in half, draw one half so that the middle of the heart is on the fold line. After this, the sheet is opened and the heart is cut out. The pattern is applied to the T-shirt, its middle is determined, and a stencil is outlined with chalk. Then the heart is carefully cut out with scissors along the outlined contours. The contour of the heart is laid with adhesive fabric tape and ironed. In this case, the glue transfers to the fabric and the tape is removed. Now a silk ribbon is laid over the resulting layer of glue. Due to the glue along the contours, it is simply glued, the ends of the tape are bent inward. If there is no such adhesive tape, then it is enough to simply sew the tape on a machine or by hand - with a hidden seam. This neckline can also be made in the form of skeletons, and the T-shirt can be decorated with lace, an old zipper, paint, buttons, or twists of twine. There are a huge number of such methods. It's just a matter of taste, imagination and diligence of handmade craftswomen.

Useful tips

Don't throw away your old T-shirt, since it can be made completely a new item or accessory.

There are many ways remake an old T-shirt, and you will find the most interesting ones here.

All you need is a couple of simple tools and a little time.

1. T-shirt with side lace inserts from an old T-shirt

1. Measure the side panels and, based on the measurements, cut the sides of the T-shirt (including the sleeves).

2. Cut each insert in half to sew onto the T-shirt.

3. Lay the T-shirt flat and sew on the lace inserts on the left and right using a machine.

4. Use pins to secure half of the lace inserts, leaving the areas where the sleeves will be untouched.

5. Using a machine, sew where you have marked with pins.

Here is another version of a T-shirt made in the same way:

2. Sleeveless vest made from T-shirts with your own hands

*After wearing it for a while, the ends of the T-shirt will curl a little, which actually makes it look even more interesting. If necessary, you can trim the T-shirt, for example, by cutting the central part even further and pulling the T-shirt back.

* Instead of ribbon, you can use the pieces left over from the T-shirt after cutting. You can also use laces or other suitable parts.

3. Tank Top with Woven T-Shirt Back

4. What to make from a T-shirt: a top with eyelets on the shoulders

You will need:

Old T-shirt

Set with hole punching pliers and eyelets

1. You can trim the top of the T-shirt and sleeves yourself and trim the edges with another fabric - in this example, leather was used.

2. Make holes and insert grommets.

3. Thread the laces through the holes. Make sure the head opening is large enough to fit the top easily.

5. T-shirt with a cut-out top from a men's T-shirt

You will need:

Fit-to-fit T-shirt

Scissors

Chalk or white pencil.

1. Turn the t-shirt inside out and apply your desired design.

2. Carefully cut out the traced design.

* If you use a high-quality cotton T-shirt, you can wash and dry it without the risk of ruining it.

*Edges may curl slightly.

6. Tank top with a bow on the back, made from a T-shirt

You will need:

T-shirt

Scissors

Pins

Sewing machine or needle and thread.

1. First, wash and dry your T-shirt if it is new. Place her on a flat surface with her back to you. Make sure the seams are symmetrical and the T-shirt is pressed.

2. Using a pencil, draw a line along which you will cut. Choose the width and length of the future bow yourself. The shape of the line should resemble the Latin letter U.

3. Start cutting a U shape along the line on the back of the t-shirt. Be careful to only cut out the back portion, not both sides of the t-shirt.

4. Fold the cut piece of fabric in half and cut off half. You will use the larger half for a bow (folding it like an accordion), and you need to cut the second half in half - you will get two strips.

Tie one strip around the middle of the bow and secure with thread and needle. If necessary, cut off excess.

5. Attach the bow with pins and sew it to the back of the T-shirt. It is better to sew at the top so that the batik is a continuation of the collar.

6. Turn the T-shirt inside out and you're done. You can make several bows, but then you need to cut an even larger U on the back.

* If you couldn’t sew the bow evenly, it’s okay, you can always fix it. The main thing is to take your time and you will succeed.

7. How to make a T-shirt with a tree pattern from a T-shirt

8. T-shirt beach dress

You will need:

T-shirt (possibly with a bright pattern)

Scissors

Needle and thread.

1. Cut off the sleeves. Save them - you will need them later.

2. Place the T-shirt with your back facing you.

3. Cut large crescent moons where the sleeves were - do this only on this part of the shirt (the back), DO NOT touch the front.

4. Turn the T-shirt over again and cut out the collar, about 2cm from the stitching.

5. Turn the T-shirt over again and cut this part of the T-shirt in a straight line just below the collar. It turns out that you have cut off the part that connects the back - don’t worry, then you will connect all the parts using a “pigtail”.

6. Cut the lower back of the T-shirt into three equal vertical strips. Pull these strips a little to make them longer and a little narrower.

7. Start braiding from these 3 stripes (from bottom to top).

8. Take your collar, fold it in half and find the center. Mark this place.

9. Using thread and needle, sew the braid to the center of the collar.

10. Cut strips from one of the sleeve cutouts and use it to cover the seams that are visible where the braid meets the collar. Simply wrap the strip around the joint and secure with thread and needle.

9. What you can do with their T-shirts: T-shirt twisted into a butterfly shape

You will need:

Wide, long T-shirt (preferably sleeveless)

Thread and needle or sewing machine.

1. Prepare a T-shirt. Cut out sleeves if necessary.

2. Turn the T-shirt inside out and cut it in half along the side seams.

3. Place one half on top of the other. Twist the half on the back side once.

4. Pin the rolled half and the front of the T-shirt and join with a stitch. Turn the T-shirt inside out.

10. Fashionable T-shirt with a pattern cut out on an old T-shirt with your own hands

You will need:

T-shirt

Scissors

1. Place the T-shirt on a flat surface and draw with chalk the pattern shown in the picture with red broken lines.

2. Carefully make cuts along the indicated lines (see image).

3. Pull the fabric a little so that the strips of fabric curl a little.

* If you want to make the same pattern on the reverse side, just repeat steps 1-3.

* If you wish, you can give the T-shirt a more rounded shape - just fold it in half lengthwise, draw one “wave” as in the picture and cut it out.

11. A beautiful top made from a large T-shirt, without the use of threads or needles

You will need:

T-shirt

Scissors

1. Mark with chalk on the front of the shirt what is drawn with red lines in the image.

2. Cut along the lines.

3. Mark with chalk on the back of the shirt the other lines that are drawn in red in the image.

4. Cut along the lines.

5. On the back, cut the middle section halfway lengthwise.

The front of the T-shirt after cutting.

The back of the T-shirt after cutting.

6. On the front of the T-shirt, tie two stripes into a knot, then move them back and tie them to the back stripes.

*If necessary, you can cut off excess parts of the fabric or tie them in a bow.

12. What can be made from a large T-shirt: a beautiful pattern without threads and needles

You will need:

T-shirt

Scissors

Ruler

Rivets.

1. Using a ruler and chalk, draw straight lines to the right and left of the collar. In this example there are 11 lines.

2. Using scissors, make cuts along these lines.

3. Make one cut at the bottom of the T-shirt, on the left or right.

You can tie the halves in a knot:

I'll continue the topic decorating t-shirts. The previous post was about men's and children's options, and this one will be about women's, in particular, we will consider the ideas proposed by a young German creative under the nickname The Petite Chouette.

So to how to decorate a t-shirt or a simple dress quickly. A couple of interesting options:

  • add a bow to them! A charming transformation, the combination of a white bow on pink knitwear looks especially cute. Natural and harmonious.

  • This option is a little more complicated and time-consuming, but again the result is amazing! A mischievous applique in the form of a panda on a white T-shirt and a baby with balloons on a vest is a very good choice, in my opinion, and I think many girls will like it.

These are the ideas I found today, so if you are thinking about how to decorate a T-shirt with your own hands, you have material for inspiration.
Collage on a T-shirt

Some interesting ideas for decoration T-shirts found on thedeligrocery.com. This is something like a collage, which is made by combining different techniques - drawing with acrylic paints, fabric appliqué and photo print. I think it will be useful to many. In this case, we present t-shirts for men and adults and one for children.

Another idea for decorating an ordinary T-shirt. We also bought a T-shirt, the most ordinary one (the color matched) on sale. Now we will decorate our T-shirt with it.

  1. Scissors.
  2. Sewing machine.
  3. T-shirt for decoration.

We cut the T-shirt that we bought at a sale into strips with scissors. 6 strips of 5*40 cm, 2 2*80 cm.

We sew wide strips on a sewing machine and pull them together into ruffles. Now their length should be 20 cm.

We sew thin strips into one. We sew on a sewing machine and make ruffles.

We sew a thin strip to the collar of our T-shirt. There should be an interval of 20 cm between the ruffles (for a wide stripe).

Now we sew a wide strip over the collar and thin ruffles.

Now we make a thin ruffle from the remnants of the T-shirt and sew it with a spiral from the wrong side.

And we get a rose. We make 2 of these (one more, the other less). Sew them to the collar (the junction of the wide and thin strips).

That's it - the decorated T-shirt is ready!

Decorating a T-shirt with beads and seed beads

Unfortunately, I don't remember the source of the photo. But the idea is worthy! Sew a web-like backing on the bottom (preferably translucent) and cut off the excess in the top layer with nail scissors. Almost like we have in this video: Alabama Project.

Decorate the front of the T-shirt with small folds and a small bow. Probably, publications on the topic of decorating clothes will not leave our blog, since a woman always strives for beautiful clothes, at home or at work.

We will need:

  1. Decorated T-shirt.
  2. Knitwear (or to match the t-shirt being decorated, but it can be in a different color).
  3. Sewing machine.

We cut the knitwear into strips 1.5-2 cm wide.

Sew them to the front of the T-shirt to be decorated. Our seam goes from the right shoulder to the left sleeve. You can make the seam line as you wish.

So we sew four stripes.

We also sew a bow from their knitwear and sew it on top of the stripes on the decorated T-shirt.

Decoration is ready!

In the German online store bonprix.de I discovered a great idea for decorating boring T-shirts. To do this, just a few pieces of chiffon or organza, and, preferably, a sewing machine. You can do without it, but then you need to stock up on a fair amount of patience.

In my opinion, a delicate butterfly on the back is the best alternative to bold letters on the chest.

Our regular column on T-shirt decoration and the next incarnation. This option can be considered as a regular decoration, and it can also hide any imperfections on a T-shirt (stains, holes).

  1. T-shirt of a similar color to the main one.
  2. Scissors.
  3. Sewing machine.

Cut off the front and sleeves of the T-shirt. Lay out on a horizontal surface, cut into strips 4 cm wide.

We increase the collar of the main T-shirt and make it a cape.

We release the cut strips from the seams and make a wavy edge on one side.

We sew on a sewing machine and make ruffles.

Now we sew it to the collar of the main T-shirt.

We do the same with the opposite side.

See how many fashionable things you can make from old T-shirts. Find out how to make six dresses from one in 15 minutes and transform a skirt.

The content of the article:

There are things that just take up space in the closet - they are no longer worn. Their owners are pretty tired of them, but it’s a shame to throw them away. You won’t have to do this if you find out how many interesting things you can make from an old T-shirt, T-shirt, how to transform a dress, an out-of-fashion skirt, unnecessary ties. Exciting ideas will allow you to create stylish new things from these things.

What to make from old T-shirts?

If you want to be irresistible on a date, make a new top for a beach holiday and simply create a new thing from an old one with your own hands, then pay attention to the following idea.

As you can see, for it you only need:
  • T-shirt;
  • scissors;
  • chalk;
  • ruler.
Draw a horizontal line on the back. It should be at such a distance that it covers the shoulder blades. We will also draw a vertical line in front using chalk and a ruler. Cut according to these outlines with scissors.

This is how an old T-shirt helped you make a beautiful top. Put it on, twist the right and left halves of the front, tying them at the back.

Replenish your wardrobe with another new item that is very fun to create. It turns out beautiful, with an openwork wicker back.

For it you will need only two items: a T-shirt and scissors. Lay the T-shirt in front of you and shorten the hem to the desired length. Also use scissors to trim the sleeves.

Fold the T-shirt in half lengthwise and make horizontal slits in the back. They should be parallel to each other and located at the same distance.

We continue to create further so that the old T-shirt turns into a new fashionable thing. To do this, unfold it, pull each strip so that they become thinner and longer.

This is necessary in order to weave a braid. It will look great on an open back. Take the top strip, find its middle, fold a loop here. Thread the second strip into it and twist a loop in the center of that one. You will thread the middle of the third into it.

Having reached the bottom, fix the last element so that it does not come undone, tie it in a knot. Trim off the excess.

What a wonderful T-shirt you have made, it’s very interesting to create with your own hands.

You don't need a needle or a sewing machine for this idea. Therefore, not only novice adult dressmakers, but also schoolgirls can make such a designer item.

The third idea will tell you how another T-shirt is transformed. Making slits on the back will not be difficult, because you have just become familiar with such work.

Cut off the collar and sleeves of the T-shirt and fold it in half lengthwise. We make slits on the back. Unlike the previous model, they go diagonally.

To do the job neatly, use a ruler and chalk to draw a diagonal line, the top of which starts near the armhole, the bottom will be at the waist.

Make slits at equal distances from each other and unfold the T-shirt. In principle, at this stage you can finish the work, and this is how you get a nice and interesting model.

You can go further - braid the back of the braid from the stripes in the same way as for the previous sample.

A boring gray T-shirt will turn into a playful model in 15 minutes. For it you will need:
  • a drawing template consisting of several parts;
  • a simple pencil;
  • scissors;
  • t-shirt.
Cut out the template pieces and attach it to the back of the T-shirt.

Using scissors, cut out the outlines already on the fabric.

This interesting work was completed so quickly.

If you need gym clothes, check out how to make a suit top in 10 minutes.

Trim the sleeves of the T-shirt along with the adjacent sides at the top. Using scissors, remove the shoulder seam as well.

Make a vertical cut in the middle of the back. Twist the right and left halves.

Secure them together at the top with a seam.

New Year's costume from an old T-shirt

White is a winning color. Wearing clothes of this color, you will always look elegant.

But what to do if you are unexpectedly invited to a club, to a party, but have nothing to wear? If you have 30 minutes to spare, you will have time to make a new thing from an old T-shirt. It should be the same color as the lace. If you don't have such a finish, you can use sheer fabric or old guipure clothing.

Punch out the sleeves of the T-shirt and also cut off a small triangular section at the shoulders. Sew these two parts and attach them to the lace. Cut out the sleeves from this openwork fabric and sew them in place.

So in half an hour you had clothes for the holiday.

If you have two white T-shirts at home, one just right for you and the other too big, this is what you need to make your next light outfit.

  1. Wear a T-shirt that fits. Using a simple pencil, draw a line from the middle of the shoulder to the hip so that it runs through the center of the chest. The second feature is symmetrical to this one.
  2. Cut along these two lines, remove the central piece of the T-shirt, it will not be needed.
  3. Take the second item, which is larger, and open the front part. Stepping back 2.5 cm from the middle of the neckline, make a fold 2 cm wide. The rest will be the same. Secure them with pins.
  4. When all the folds are completed, stitch them along the lines that are visible in the photo. Then cut, departing from these lines 3 cm in each direction. We do not cut from the bottom of the armhole to the shoulders so that we get small sleeves here. Sew this part to the front of a T-shirt that is your size.
Now you can go and shine in this bright robe, celebrating the New Year or celebrating any other holiday in a new thing.

By the way, lace trim can transform almost any thing. If you want to decorate a regular white T-shirt, sew horizontally openwork stripes of the same color on it, and you will be surprised at the result.

In such a festive T-shirt you can not only celebrate the New Year, but also go to a cafe, to the theater, as in the next two outfits.

For the first one you will need a T-shirt with a V-neck. It is edged with a strip of wide sewing. You can decorate an old model by stitching a piece of lace vertically.

Make a triangular insert from such an openwork fabric, and another T-shirt of yours will be transformed, just like the next one. For it, we cut out a strip in the center of the sleeve, apply it to the lace, and cut it out according to this template. All that remains is to sew the openwork insert onto the sleeve and you can shine in new clothes.

6 ways to style a dress

If you want people to think you have 6 dresses of the same color, don't disappoint them. See how to design a dress to create completely different models.

For this interesting clothing option you will need:
  • well-draped fabric;
  • scissors;
  • sewing machine.
Sew a half-sun or flared skirt to your size. You can also opt for a flared model by making a godet skirt so that it turns into a dress. To do this, cut out two long wide ribbons from the same fabric. Sew them on the waistband to the front of the skirt. The back will be bare for now. We begin tying these ribbons to make six evening dresses out of one.
  1. Take the right band and place it over your left breast. Place the left strip of fabric on your right breast. Throw both ends of these ribbons behind your back and twist them here in the form of a braid. When this element reaches the waist, secure the tape data by tying it in a knot. Pass them forward on the belt, twist them here once, go back, tie them at the back.
  2. The second model will allow you to create a dress in the Greek style in 3 minutes. Throw both ribbons over your left shoulder and lower them back, twisting them. Tie one knot on the side. Point it forward towards your stomach, twist the ends, bring them back where you tie them. In front, straighten the resulting belt so that it emphasizes the waist, making it high. Therefore, the belt should start from the chest.
  3. The third model will allow you to get a strapless dress. The right tape goes to the left, the left to the right along the waist line. They meet at the back on the back, then return to the front. Here you need to tie them in a knot, return them and also fix them by tying them together.
  4. When you manage to design a dress of the fourth model, you will have a full-fledged bodice. Lift both ribbons and tie them under your neck in one knot. Bring it behind your back, lower it to your waist, make a knot. Point the ribbons forward, twist them here once, put them back, secure by tying them. In this model, as in the next one, you can go to a dinner party, to the theater, to a reception.
  5. To use the fifth idea, lift both bands up and twist each one, bringing them down over your shoulders. Place it on your back, crossing the ends of these belts at the level of your shoulder blades. Then bring them forward, twist them, throw them over the back, where they tie.
  6. The latest model is suitable for almost any occasion. It is created very simply. Lift the ribbons, throw them over your shoulders, lower them back, where you screw them once. Then bring it forward at the waistline where you tie it. All that remains is to adjust the edges of the fabric strips to cover the shoulders and upper arms.
This is how you can quickly design a dress to get several from one, suitable for different occasions. You can make another one from a T-shirt.

To do this, open her sleeves, cut out an identical strap from each, and sew them in place. The dress is ready.

If your dad, husband, or older brother has an unwanted oversized T-shirt, turn it into a dress. Put it on yourself, draw with chalk where the horizontal line of the top of the chest runs. Leave 2 cm for the hem, trim the rest from the top. Using scissors, remove excess from one of the sides. Make a new seam.

Don't throw away any leftover T-shirt. Cut them into rectangles, roll each tan lengthwise. Roll from one end to the other. You will get fabric roses that you will sew onto your new evening dress.

Here's another option on how to make a dress from a long T-shirt.

To do this, prepare:
  • T-shirt;
  • scissors;
  • chalk or pencil;
  • ruler;
  • thin braid to match;
  • fabric or adhesive applique.
Place the T-shirt on a hard surface and use a ruler and pencil or chalk to draw a horizontal line at armpit level.

If the T-shirt is short, when you need to trim the minimum from the top, place a ruler horizontally just below the neckline.

Cut along the drawn line. Make the T-shirt narrower by stitching on one side so that the dress fits your figure. Trim off the excess at the seam. Tuck the sundress at the top, stitch it, insert a rope or elastic band here. Sew on the ribbons. You can decorate the dress with buttons trimmed with the same fabric. Sew or glue on an applique, and another new item will appear in your wardrobe.

Here's how to remake a dress, but from a long T-shirt. For this you will need:

  • T-shirt;
  • bleach or bleach;
  • basin;
  • scissors;
  • gloves.

Cut the bottom into strips in the form of a fringe.

Pour bleach or bleach into a bowl and place only the resulting fringe in there for a few minutes. Take the item out, rinse well and dry. Due to the dark color fading, you will get such a spectacular bottom of the dress.

Few people will guess that the colorful beach dress is also created from an ordinary white T-shirt.

Here's what you'll use for this:
  • white T-shirt;
  • rope;
  • fabric paints;
  • scissors.
Fold the T-shirt and tie it with string. Dilute the paints according to the instructions in different containers. There are two ways to saturate fabric with them - by placing fragments of a T-shirt in a certain color or by applying the solution with a brush.

Rinse the T-shirt, dry it and start cutting. You can dye a T-shirt in other ways. Many are discussed in the article about.

Cut out the sleeves along with part of the armhole, at the back, going further into the back than at the front. Use scissors to remove its neck.

Just above the line of the shoulder blades, make a horizontal cut, and then immediately three vertical ones.

We braid them into a braid, tie it at the bottom and sew it in the middle of the T-shirt on the back at the waist line.

Now you know how to make a dress for the beach with your own hands, without using thread and a needle.

How to alter a skirt?

If you have a straight or slightly flared skirt, make a vertical slit on the left side of the panel. It needs to be processed by sewing braid or fabric of the same color.

For the second option, 2 symmetrical cuts are made on the left and right. They also need to be processed.

Extravagant girls can be advised to remake their skirt as follows. A semicircular cutout is made on the front panel, which is then finished with bias tape.

Fold the skirt in half, draw a semicircular line on the inside at the bottom of the front panel, and cut along it. When you unfold the product, you will see that you have 2 wave-shaped notches.

And you will make such a skirt from an old sweater and an unnecessary knitted dress or T-shirt.

Place these things on the table. Cut the sweater under the armhole to create a rectangular fabric. Cut a strip from any knitted item that will become the waistband of the skirt.

Fold it in half, placing a grosgrain ribbon inside, and pin it together. Sew an overlock stitch on the inside, stretching the garment so that it does not tear when putting on the skirt.

Another beautiful thing has appeared in the wardrobe.

Women's new clothes from men's ties

Sometimes they accumulate in incredible quantities in closets. To turn unnecessary things into useful ones, check out these three ideas.

  1. Place 2 ties side by side and sew them together on the side. Sew the rest in the same way. Sew on the side, leaving the armhole free. This is where you will stick your hands when putting on the vest. At the level of the navel, sew a button on one side and a loop on the other to fasten it. You can tie it with a tie sewn here.
  2. To sew a skirt, we also sew them together to make a rectangular fabric, sew the wide parts to the narrower ones. Sew the seam that will be at the back. Sew a zipper on top.
  3. To make such a spectacular belt, two or three men's ties are sewn together.
