I started drawing clovers in Adobe Photoshop using vector graphics, due to the fact that, unlike a raster, a vector can be stretched as you please. In general, working tools such as Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw are designed for vectors, but if Photoshop has the Pen tool, then it can be used in Photoshop too, right?

The first step was to mark the contours of the cores of future clover leaves, and for this purpose I chose the brightest color suitable for this. On the contrary, the “crossroads” itself was darkened.

The next step is to draw the outlines of the leaves themselves. Here we choose a green color similar to the color of the clover leaf. And we draw “areas”.

As you can see, the leaves are “stuck together”, and therefore it would be correct to separate them from each other, darkening the internal areas, leaving a “glow” along the edges of the sheets.

Now you can add dark inclusions, thereby giving patterns to the leaves.

The final touch is the stem. There’s nothing complicated here either – green outlines and lightening or darkening at the edges.

Start your artistic creation with a clover that has 3 leaves. After all, such plants are found most often. If the flower grew in a shaded place, then its stem would become elongated. This type of clover is the easiest to draw. Draw a vertical line - the peduncle is ready.

If nature's creation grew in a sunny place, then the stem did not need to rush upward so much. He grew stockier and a little crooked. Draw it in the form of an arc, both ends of which are raised up. Leaves will be located on the left edge. They are very easy to draw. Draw a small heart at this end of the arc with the point down. Draw two more in the same way. They are located symmetrically relative to the stem.

If you want to draw a clover that has 4 leaves, then draw the fourth one. Then they should all be located symmetrically. In the middle of each leaf, draw a line that divides both parts in half. It starts from the bend of the heart and ends at its tip - these are veins.

A blooming flower is a circle. Mark where its middle will be, draw small symmetrical rays from it in all directions. There are many of them, they make the flower fluffy.

If you want to capture a clover that has been wilted by the heat, then also start making strokes from the middle of the bud. Those located in its upper half are directed towards the sun. Turn the lines from the lower half towards the ground.

Erase the lines created with a simple pencil (except for the veins of the leaves) and add delicate colors to the drawing. You can color the clover flower with a white or lilac pencil. Thin petals at the base are green. Take a pencil of this tone and transfer this feature to your artistic creation.
