The second is the peculiarity of the grip with the second hand. In this case we are talking about the casing located on the gearbox housing. It’s good if it immediately “fits your hand” and has large sides. Alternatively, the kit may include a rotary additional handle, as, for example, on the Black&Decker RS1050EK.

There are reciprocating saws with a Z-shaped arrangement (Metabo PSE 0525, “LEPSE PEN-0.5”), it is quite possible that someone will like them more.

The most interesting model is Flex SKL 2903 VV 230/CEE, in which the front part of the housing can be rotated and locked in 13 positions.

Cordless reciprocating saws

Such devices are increasingly crowding out their network counterparts (Milwaukee V28 SX Sawzall, DeWalt DW008K). They are already practically not inferior to them in performance (Makita BJR181RFE, Bosch GSA 36 V-LI), the power reserve of their batteries has increased significantly, and the units charge very quickly - less than an hour.
