A person sees his relatives after death. The dead see and hear us...

Incredible facts

During the Easter holidays, the topic of the afterlife is especially relevant. These days, we all remember not only the risen Savior, but also our deceased family members.

Surely, many have heard that our loved ones, even after death, somehow influence our life and destiny.

But what exactly is the role of deceased relatives?

Our deceased relatives

1. What happens when a family member dies?

The death of our loved ones is perhaps the most tragic moment in a person’s earthly life. Such loss is the most terrible event; it affects our mind. We feel the bitterness of loss especially acutely as we get older.

It is logical that when we lose a beloved grandfather, grandmother or one of our parents, we are interested in knowing whether they are lost forever or whether they will return to us in the form of our children or grandchildren?

It is for this reason that many cultures around the world worship their dead ancestors...

2. Hindus worship dead relatives

Hindus have the opportunity to pay tribute to their ancestors in the form of shraddha, a religious ceremony held in honor of a deceased relative not only on the anniversary of his death, but also on a dark, moonless night every month.

This night got its name amavasya, and is a very important part of Hindu culture.

In addition, twice a year Hindus celebrate Pitri Paksha, a period of 16 lunar days intended to honor their ancestors.

3. Altar for ancestors

Apart from the Hindu faith, in many other cultures around the world, people worship their deceased relatives.

There is a special altar for ancestor worship, where food is placed and other gifts, such as incense, are presented.

This is done as a sign of respect to deceased relatives, as well as in gratitude for everything they did for us.

4. We owe them

Always remember that we all owe a debt to our deceased grandparents and parents.

While some may overlook the importance of being grateful to our ancestors, we cannot help but admit that, one way or another, we owe them a lot.

They gave us life, raised us and invested a lot in us. Therefore, be sure to thank your deceased ancestors for what they did for you and in no case deny their role in your life.

Help for deceased loved ones

5. Our guardian angels

There are even those who believe that our deceased loved ones are our guardian angels, or at least, they are very similar to them.

Like angels, their souls protect us from everything bad and protect us from evil. Sometimes they can even do for us what neither various deities, nor even angels are able to do.

Their souls can influence our destiny in one way or another, and can also be present in our daily lives. For example, the souls of our deceased loved ones can help us find lost things or give us a brilliant idea at the very moment when we really need advice.

6. They are watching us

What if we knew for sure that our deceased loved ones were watching over us and wanted to help us in our daily lives as if they were alive and actually present in our lives?

In fact, their presence is palpable; it seems that after death they have some kind of supernatural power and help us from another kingdom.

Indeed, their help and incredible wisdom can enrich our lives, fill it with a completely different meaning, we just need to recognize their energetic presence...

7. Do some of our deceased ancestors return to their families?

Ancestor worship is respect and tribute to the memory of our relatives who left this world. Moreover, followers of some religions go even further in their perception of the afterlife: they firmly believe that the souls of their ancestors return to them.

Such sincere belief that they really return to their families in one form or another helps people live.

In fact, this is another proof of the deep affection and love our deceased loved ones have for us, the living members of their family, despite the fact that they are separated from us at the body level and exist only in the form of a soul.

8. Gratitude and also forgiveness

Of course, if we honor our deceased loved ones, this means that our ancestors were kind and loving people, and not evil and cruel. And they continue to remain so even after their death.

You should definitely remember them in your prayers, thank them for everything, and also ask for their forgiveness and forgive them for any mistakes they may have made.

9. What if they come back for a specific purpose?

What if they come back to take care of you or because they need to follow up on something and complete an unfinished task?

It is quite possible that during the period of numerous reincarnations they will definitely find time to return to their family on earth.

10. Plans of our subconscious

Do we make any plans for the afterlife during our earthly life?

Our survival instinct forces us to invest effort, resources and money in our children. Although we do not admit it, we do it on some subconscious level. Our destiny, and our continuation of the family, is the most important component of our life and this is also what will be our continuation after death.

11. Route for the soul

What about those who have no offspring? There is also a map of the routes and their souls. They also come back.

Our soul lies in our DNA. The souls of these people will return to the descendants of one of their family members.

12. Visiting the cemetery and the graves of our loved ones

Another way to honor ancestors is to visit their graves. Cemetery visits are common in both Christianity and Islam, with people visiting the graves of their dead relatives on holidays or special days set aside in the religious calendar.

For Christians, memorial days occur a week after Easter. This period is considered the time of remembrance of the dead.

13. Doing good deeds

With our prayers we pay tribute to our departed relatives. But another way to pay tribute is to perform conscious good deeds that improve our karma.

We can donate money to charity, give food to those in need. For example, Hindus believe that by giving a gift of a cow, which is considered a sacred animal, they are performing a great act of kindness...

14. Acts of mercy

For Christians, good deeds are “charity”, for Muslims it is “sadaqa”, for Buddhists it is “bhiksha”. Doing good in the name of our ancestors is another way of our gratitude, as well as honoring them.

15. Fulfilling our destiny

The best thing deceased ancestors can do for us is to help us fulfill our destiny.

In many ways they help us understand the value of the things we already have, as well as the blessings we may lose if we do not take good care of certain things.

There are several places in Scripture where we can learn about life after death. My reasoning will be based on a passage from the Gospel of Luke.

The excerpt is as follows: Ev. Luke chapter 16, verses 19 to 31.

I bring to your attention several versions of the translation of the above passage from Scripture.

19 A certain man was rich, dressed in purple and fine linen, and feasted magnificently every day.
20 There was also a certain beggar named Lazarus, who lay at his gate covered with sores
21 And he desired to be fed with the crumbs that fell from the rich man’s table, and the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 The beggar died and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried.
23 And in hell, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off and Lazarus in his bosom
24 And he cried out and said: Father Abraham! have mercy on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am tormented in this flame.
25 But Abraham said: child! remember that you have already received your good in your life, and Lazarus received your evil; now he is comforted here, and you suffer;
26 And besides all this, a great gulf has been established between us and you, so that those who want to cross from here to you cannot, neither can they cross from there to us.
27 Then he said, “I ask you, father, send him to my father’s house,
28 For I have five brothers; let him testify to them, so that they too do not come to this place of torment.
29 Abraham said to him, “They have Moses and the prophets; let them listen to them.
30 And he said, No, Father Abraham, but if one comes to them from the dead, they will repent.
31 Then [Abraham] said to him: If they do not listen to Moses and the prophets, even if someone were raised from the dead, they would not believe it.

(Luke 16:19-31)

19 Jesus said, “Once upon a time there lived a rich man. He dressed in the most expensive and luxurious clothes and enjoyed his wealth every day.
20 A beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores, was often brought to his gate.
21 And he waited there to be satisfied with the pieces of food that fell from the rich man’s table. Even dogs came and licked his sores.
22 When the beggar died, the angels carried him to Abraham. The rich man also died and was buried.
23 And in the kingdom of the dead, where the rich man was being tortured, he looked up and saw Abraham in the distance holding Lazarus in his arms.
24 And he cried out: “Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus so that he can wet his finger with water and refresh my tongue, for I am tormented in this fire!”
25 But Abraham said, “My son, remember that you received only good things in life, and Lazarus only received bad things. Here he was comforted, and you suffer.
26 And a huge chasm lies between you and us, no one can cross over and help, and no one can cross over to us.”
27 And the rich man said: “Then I ask you, father, send Lazarus to my father’s house,
28 For I have five brothers; let him warn them so that they too do not end up here to be tortured.”
29 But Abraham said, “They have Moses and the prophets. Let them listen to them."
30 Then the rich man said, “No, Father Abraham, but if someone from the dead comes to them, they will repent.”
31 To this Abraham answered him: “If they do not listen to Moses and the prophets, they will not believe even the one who rises from the dead.”

(Luke 16:19-31)

Punishment for insensitivity

This parable is written with such skill that there is not a single unnecessary phrase. Let's take a closer look at the faces depicted in it.

1. Firstly, the rich man. Every word spoken about him shows the luxury in which he lived. He dressed in purple and fine, beautiful linen clothing. This is how the clothes of the high priests are usually described, which at that time cost fabulous money. And every day he ate sumptuous food.

In the original, the word feast was usually applied to a gourmet eating exquisite and expensive dishes. The rich man did this every day. By doing this he undoubtedly violated the fourth commandment. This commandment not only prohibits working on the Sabbath, but also says: “You shall work six days” (Ex. 20:9).

In a country where the common people were happy if they ate meat once a week, and where they had to work hard for six days of the week, the rich man embodies idleness and indulgence. And Lazarus lay waiting for the crumbs to fall from the rich man’s table.

In those days there were no knives, no forks, no napkins; They ate food with their hands, and after eating they washed their hands. And in very rich houses they wiped their hands with slices of bread, which were then thrown away.

It was these slices of bread that Lazarus was waiting for.

2. Secondly - Lazarus. Oddly enough, Lazarus is the only name mentioned in the parables. The name Lazarus is a Latinized form of the Hebrew name. Eleazar, meaning “ God is my support and help«.

He was a beggar, covered with scabs and so weak that he could not drive away the dogs that licked his scabs. This is the picture in this world. But it changes, and in the world to come Lazarus is in glory in Abraham’s bosom, and the rich man is in hell in torment.

What is the sin of the rich man?

After all, he did not order Lazarus to be removed from the gates of his house. He did not object to Lazarus receiving the bread that was thrown from his table. He didn't kick him as he passed by. No, the rich man was not intentionally cruel to Lazarus.

But the rich man’s sin was that he simply did not pay attention to Lazarus, he accepted his situation as natural and inevitable: Lazarus should lie in suffering and hungry, while he, the rich man, bathed in luxury.

Someone said about him: “The rich man did not go to hell for what he did, but was doomed to torment for what he did not do.”

The rich man’s sin was that he could calmly see suffering and need, but they did not fill his heart with pity and compassion; he saw a fellow man suffering and hungry, and did nothing to improve anything.

He was punished for not noticing the grief of his neighbor.

It may seem cruel that Abraham refused to send the rich man Lazarus to warn his brothers of their fate. But it is absolutely clear that if people are given the true Word of God, and if everywhere they look there is grief that requires consolation; a need to be helped; and the suffering that needs to be alleviated - and this does not evoke sympathy or help from them - then they have nothing to help them with.

What a terrible warning: the rich man sinned not by doing bad things, but by not doing anything good.

Let's look at the place in more detail

16,19-21 The Lord concludes His discourse on wealth management with a story of two lives, two deaths, and two consequences. Please note that this is not a parable. We emphasize this because some critics try to explain the serious meaning of this story by citing the fact that it is supposedly a parable.

It must be made clear from the outset that the nameless rich man was not condemned to hell because of his wealth. The basis of salvation is faith in the Lord, and people will be condemned for refusing to believe in Him.

In particular, this rich man showed that he did not have true saving faith by his indifferent contempt for the beggar who lay scabbed at his gate.

If the love of God had been in him, he could not have lived in luxury, comfort and security while a fellow tribesman lay at the gate of his house and begged for crumbs of bread. He would have entered the Kingdom of God with effort if he had given up the love of money.

It is also true that Lazarus was not saved because of his poverty. In the matter of saving his soul, he trusted the Lord.

Now pay attention to portrait of a rich man, sometimes called "rich man". He dressed only in the most expensive and fashionable clothes, and his table was laden with the most exquisite dishes. He lived for himself, indulging the pleasures and desires of the flesh. He did not have sincere love for God and caring for another, similar person.

Lazarus- the exact opposite of him. This is the unfortunate beggar who every day lay in front of the rich man's house, he was covered with scabs, exhausted from hunger and pursued by dirty dogs who licked his scabs.

16,22 When the beggar died, he was carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom. Many doubt whether angels are actually involved in transporting the souls of believers to heaven. We see no reason to doubt the simple power of these words. Angels minister to believers in this life, and there is obviously a reason why they should do the same at the hour of death.

Bosom of Abraham is a figurative expression denoting a place of bliss. For any Jew, the thought of being in communion with Abraham is associated with inexpressible bliss. We hold that Abraham's bosom is the same as heaven.

When the rich man died, his body was buried - the body that he had pleased and on which he had spent so much money.

16,23-24 But that's not the end of the story. His soul, or self-conscious substance, went to hell.

Hell(Greek translation of the Old Testament word " sheol") is the habitat of dead souls. In the Old Testament period it was spoken of as the location of both the saved and the unsaved. It is spoken of here as a place reserved for the unsaved, because we read that the rich man was in torment. The disciples were probably amazed when Jesus said that the rich man was going to hell.

Based on the Old Testament, they were always taught that wealth was a sign of God's blessings and favor. The Israelite who obeyed the Lord was promised material prosperity. How then could a rich Jew go to hell?

The Lord Jesus had just declared that with the preaching of John a new order of things had begun. Therefore, wealth is not a sign of blessing. It serves as a test of a person’s fidelity in housekeeping. To whom much is given, much will be required.

Verse 23 debunks the idea that the “soul sleeps,” the theory that the soul is unconscious during the period between death and resurrection. The verse proves that there is a conscious existence on the other side of the grave.

In fact, we are amazed at the vastness of knowledge that the rich man possessed. He saw Abraham in the distance, and Lazarus in his bosom. He could even communicate with Abraham. Calling him “Father Abraham,” he begged him for mercy, and asked Lazarus to bring a drop of water and cool his tongue.

The question, of course, arises: how can an incorporeal soul experience thirst and torment in a flame. We can only conclude that this is a figurative expression, but this does not mean that the suffering is not real.

16,25 Abraham called him “child,” thereby confirming that he was his physical descendant, although obviously not a spiritual one. The Patriarch reminded him of a life spent in luxury, pleasure and pleasure. He also remembered the poverty and suffering of Lazarus. Now, on the other side of the grave, they have changed places. Inequality on earth has been reversed.

16,26 From this verse we learn that the choices we make in this life determine our eternal destiny, and once death occurs, that destiny is sealed. There is no transition from the abode of the saved to the abode of the condemned, and vice versa.

16,27-31 After death, the rich man suddenly becomes an evangelist. He wants someone to go to his five brothers with a warning so that they do not come to this place of torment.

Abraham replied that these five brothers, being Jews, had the Old Testament Scriptures, and they should be sufficient for warning. The rich man objected to Abraham, saying that if anyone from the dead came to them, they would definitely repent. However, Abraham left the last word for himself. He stated that failure to listen to the Word of God is final. If people do not listen to the warnings of the Bible, they will not believe even if someone rises from the dead.

Convincing proof of this is what happened to the Lord Jesus Himself. He rose from the dead, but people still don't believe it.

From the New Testament we know that when a believer dies, his body goes to the grave, but his soul goes to heaven to be with Christ.

8 Then we are content and wish rather to leave the body and be with the Lord.
(2 Cor. 5:8)

23 I am attracted by both: I have a desire to be resolved and to be with Christ, because this is incomparably better;
(Phil. 1:23)

When a non-believer dies, his body goes to the grave in the same way, but his soul goes to hell. For him, hell is a place of suffering and remorse.

At the rapture of the Church, the bodies of believers will rise from their graves and be reunited with spirit and soul.

13 I do not want you, brothers, to be ignorant about the dead, so that you do not grieve like others who have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, then God will also bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will not warn those who are dead,
16 because the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first;
17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.
18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
(1 Thess. 4:13-18)

Valentina, Voronezh

Do the dead really see us and feel prayer?

Father, I read that the dead see us and feel prayer. But why is there no news from them until 40 days? Due to the fault of the neurosurgeon, after the operation I lost my only son, Alexander, 39 years old. I grieve very much for him, I calm down when I read the Psalter, the rest of the time there are memories of him, despondency and tears. I read the Bible - Ecclesiastes, ch. 9 (4-10). God says: “Ask and it will be given.” I pray for my son, but from there there is silence, there is no answer to my prayers, requests and questions. And I have such pain and longing in my heart. I order masses of repose, memorial services, I ordered several sorokousts for churches and monasteries, the Psalter is read about him in the monastery, I pray myself... And no answer. Why? Please answer, father, I don’t understand anything.

Good health, Valentina. First of all, I would like to humanly try to calm you down, at least through an answer to help you drive away despondency and melancholy. You, being a Christian, probably know very well even without me that the Lord controls everything in this world. There is a lot of evidence of this, and the very first is in the Creed: “I believe in one God, the Father Almighty.” Without His will, nothing can happen either in this or in the next world. Also in the Gospel there are many places about birds that will not fall without the will of the Heavenly Father (Luke 12:6-7).

Based on the evidence presented, we cannot say that your son died due to a neurosurgeon’s mistake. He died primarily because the Lord allowed him to pass from this world to another. And directly on earth, the neurosurgeon’s mistake was only an “instrument” in the hands of God’s wise providence. If you look at it from this angle, then a person will inevitably humble himself before God’s providence (after all, God wanted and allowed this, not man, God, who is Love, who never makes mistakes and knows exactly what is good for us and when), and therefore, calm down a little. Having calmed down, a person will begin to think more clearly and pray more soberly, without wandering thoughts. This is the first and very important point that I would like to tell you about.

The second thing I would like to draw your attention to is the question of the existence of the soul outside the body. In your question you quote Holy Scripture and, while internally agreeing with it, you make a serious mistake. An equal sign was placed between the Old and New Testaments. The Old Testament is the time when they were waiting for the coming of the Messiah; a time in which there was no clear understanding of either salvation or the fate of the soul after death. In a conversation with a Samaritan woman, this was expressed very well: “When the Messiah comes to tell us everything” (Gospel of John, chapter 4, verse 25). The very name Dilapidated already speaks for itself - that is, decayed, out of use. In his commentary on the Gospel of John, Theophylact of Bulgaria writes: “By “wine” you can understand the gospel teaching, and by “water” everything that preceded the Gospel, which was very watery and did not have the perfection of the gospel teaching. Let me give you an example: the Lord gave man different laws, one in paradise (Genesis 2:16-17), another under Noah (Genesis 9), a third under Abraham about circumcision (Genesis 17), a fourth through Moses ( Exodus 19; Exodus 20), fifth - through the prophets. All these laws are watery in comparison with the accuracy and power of the Gospel, if anyone understands them simply and literally. If someone delves into their spirit and understands what is hidden in them, he will find water turned into wine. For he who discerns spiritually what is said simply and is understood literally by many will, without a doubt, find in this water excellent wine, drunk subsequently and preserved by the bridegroom Christ, since the Gospel appeared in the last times (John 2-10), another reminder of the serpent and about ancient history (Num. 21:5-9), and thus at once, on the one hand, teaches us that the ancient is akin to the new and that one and the same Lawgiver of the Old and New Testaments, although Marcion, Manes and the rest of the collection of similar heretics reject the Old Testament, saying that it is the law of the evil demiurge (artist); on the other hand, it teaches that if the Jews avoided death by looking at the copper image of the serpent, then much more will we avoid spiritual death by looking at the Crucified One and believing in Him. Perhaps compare the image with the truth. There is the likeness of a serpent, having the appearance of a serpent, but not having poison: so here the Lord is a Man, but free from the poison of sin, coming in the likeness of the flesh of sin, that is, in the likeness of the flesh subject to sin, but He Himself is not the flesh of sin. Then those who looked on avoided physical death, and we avoided spiritual death. Then the hanged man healed the bites of snakes, and now Christ heals the wounds of the mental dragon (John 3-15).”

The Old Testament promised long life to those who pleased God in it, and the Gospel rewards such with life not temporary, but eternal and indestructible (John 3-16). It is a grave mistake to live according to the Old Testament; you must try to get away from this.

The third thing that needs to be said is the problem of Faith and Knowledge. Believing that your prayers, tears, sighs, heartache, all those services that you order are beneficial and help the soul of your son Alexander to purify - this is one thing. But knowing is another thing. We really want to see the results of our deeds right away. Where knowledge reigns, there is still very little faith. Such a person is not yet solid; he hesitates, sways, and is ready to fall. He who firmly believes does not need any phenomena from the other world. In the parable of the rich man and Lazarus, at the very end, the rich man asks Abraham: “Send Lazarus to my father’s house.” Abraham objects: “They have the scriptures, let them believe them.” The rich man replies: “No, they won’t believe the scriptures, but if someone rises from the dead, they will.” Then Abraham said to him: “If they do not listen to Moses and the prophets, even if someone were raised from the dead, they would not believe it” (Luke 16:31).

There are people like this today who say: “Who has seen what is happening in hell? Who came from there and told us?” Let them listen to Abraham, who says that if we do not listen to the Scriptures, we will not believe those who would come to us from hell. This is obvious from the example of the Jews. They, since they did not listen to the Scriptures, did not believe even when they saw the dead risen, and even thought of killing Lazarus (John 12:10). In the same way, after many of the dead were resurrected during the Crucifixion of the Lord (Matthew 27:52), the Jews breathed even greater murder on the apostles. Moreover, if this resurrection of the dead were useful for our faith, the Lord would have done it often. But now nothing is more useful than a careful search of the Scriptures (John 5:39). The devil would have managed to resurrect the dead (although) in a ghostly way, and therefore would have misled the foolish, instilling among them a doctrine of hell worthy of its malice. But with our sound study of the Scriptures, the devil cannot invent anything like that. For they (the Scriptures) are a lamp and a light (2 Pet. 1:19), by the radiance of which the thief is discovered and revealed. So, you need to believe the Scriptures, and not demand the resurrection of the dead (Gospel of Luke, chapter 16, verses 19-31).

We do not need to look for visions and phenomena to confirm our knowledge. We need to direct all the strength of our soul and body to acquiring faith. God deals with each person in the best way from the point of view of his salvation and fate in eternity.

It’s very difficult and painful for you now, it’s difficult to survive this grief. It seems to me that, perhaps, out of strong maternal love, you could, even without noticing it, love the creation more than the Creator, that is, your son more than God. This very attachment hurts you and hurts you. Please look at the Gospel of Luke, chapter 14, verse 26. If you look calmly, we will see that God exists as he was, and you are alive, and the soul of your son Alexander is alive. Patience to you, spiritual strength, faith and hope in God.

Many who have lost loved ones are familiar with the feelings that loss causes. Emptiness, melancholy and wild pain in the soul. Grieving for departed loved ones is one of the most painful psychological conditions.

However, there is a lot of information that the living receive messages from the subtle world.

Let's not take into account researchers who purposefully study possibilities of two-way communication with the other world. There are a considerable number of people who claim that they do not make any effort to see the souls of the departed. Visions occur, in their opinion, involuntarily.

From this article you will learn how the souls of the dead communicate with the living.

Stuck Between Worlds

People often get scared when footsteps are clearly heard in their homes where no one is walking. Water taps and light switches turn on by themselves, things fall off the shelves with enviable regularity. In other words, poltergeist activity is observed. But what's really going on?

To understand who or what is communicating with us on behalf of the dead, you need to imagine what happens after death.

After the death of the physical body, the soul strives to return to the Creator. Some souls will do this faster, while others will take longer. The higher the level of development of the soul, the faster it will reach Home.

However, the soul can, for various reasons, linger in the astral plane, which is closest in density to the physical world. Sometimes the deceased does not realize what is happening and where he is. He doesn't understand that he died. He is unable to return to the physical body and is stuck between worlds.

For him, everything remains the same, except for one thing: living people stop seeing them. Such souls are considered to be ghosts.

For how long a ghost soul will linger near the world of the living, depends on the level of development of the soul. By human standards, the time spent by a certain soul in parallel with living people can be calculated in decades, or even centuries. They may need help from the living.

Call from the other world

Telephone calls from the inhabitants of the subtle world are one of the ways of communication. SMS messages are received on mobile phones, calls are received from strange numbers from a variety of numbers. When trying to call back to these numbers or send a response, it turns out that this number does not exist, and later it is completely deleted from the phone’s memory.

Such calls are usually accompanied by a very loud noise, similar to the wind in a field and a loud crash. Through the crackling, contact with the world of the dead is manifested. It's like a curtain is breaking through between worlds.

The phrases are short and only the caller speaks. Calls coming to mobile phones are observed during the first time after a person has died. The further from the day of death, the rarer they become.

The recipients of such calls may not suspect that the caller is no longer alive. This becomes clear later. It is possible that such calls are made by ghosts who themselves are not aware of their physical death.

What do dead people talk about when they call on the phone?

Sometimes, when calling on the phone, the deceased may ask for help.

So, one woman received a call late at night from her younger sister, who asked her to help her. But the woman was very tired, so she promised to call back the next morning and help in any way she could.

And about five minutes later, the younger sister’s husband called and said that his wife had been dead for about two weeks, and her body was in the forensic morgue. She was hit by a car and the driver fled the scene of the accident.

Souls, by calling the phone, can warn the living about the danger.

A young family was traveling by car. A girl was driving. The car skidded and miraculously did not roll over, leaving the road. At this time, the girl’s mobile phone was ringing.

When everyone came to their senses a little, it turned out that the girl’s mother had called. They called her back, and she asked in a trembling voice if everything was okay. When asked why she was asking, the woman replied: “Grandfather called (he died six years ago) and said: “She’s still alive. You can save her.”

In addition to cell phones, the voices of dead people can be heard in the computer speakers along with technical noise. Their degree of intelligibility can vary from very quiet and barely intelligible to relatively loud and clearly distinguishable.

Reflections of ghosts in mirrors and more

People talk about seeing reflections of their deceased loved ones in mirrors, as well as on TV screens and computer monitors.

The girl saw a rather dense silhouette of her mother on the tenth day after her funeral. The woman “sat” on a chair nearby, as she did during life, and looked over her daughter’s shoulder. A few moments later the silhouette disappeared and did not appear again. Later, the girl realized that her mother’s soul came to her to say goodbye.

Raymond Moody in his books talks about the ancient technology when by peering into the mirror you can establish contact with the deceased. This technique was used in ancient times by priests. True, instead of mirrors they used bowls of water.

An unprepared person can see in the mirror the image of someone who has died by briefly glancing into it. The image can either transform from the reflection of the face of the person looking in the mirror, or appear next to the reflection of the viewer.

In addition to the signs that residents of the subtle planes leave through technology or some household items, attempts to make contact are made directly. That is, people physically feel the otherworldly presence of spirits, hear their voices and even recognize the smells characteristic of their timelessly departed loved ones during life.

Tactile sensations of presence

Sensitive people feel an otherworldly presence as a light touch or a breeze. Often mothers who have lost their children, in moments of intense grief, feel as if someone is hugging them or stroking their hair.

It is possible that in moments when people experience a strong desire to see their deceased relatives, they subtle bodies are capable of perceiving energies of more subtle planes.

The dead ask the living for help

Sometimes a person is in an unusual state. He feels that he needs to do something, he is “pulled” somewhere. He doesn’t understand what exactly, but the feeling of confusion does not let him go. He literally does not find a place for himself.

“We came to visit relatives in another city, where my grandparents once lived. It was Monday, and tomorrow was Parents' Day. I couldn’t find a place for myself, I was drawn somewhere, I felt like I had to do something. The family discussed tomorrow. They didn’t remember where my grandfather’s grave was - the cemetery was in disarray and all the landmarks had been removed.

Without telling anyone, I went alone to the cemetery to look for my grandfather’s grave. I didn't find her that day. The next day, the third, the fourth - to no avail. And the condition does not go away, it only intensifies.

Returning to my city, I asked my mother what my grandfather’s grave looked like. It turns out that there is a photograph of a stele with a star at the end, on the grave of my grandfather. And we went - this time with my sister and my daughter. And my daughter found his grave!

We put it in order and painted the monument. Now all relatives know where grandfather is buried.

After that, it was like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. I feel like I should have brought my family to his grave.”

Sometimes, being in crowded places, you can very clearly hear the calling voice of the deceased, similar to a call. This happens when sounds are mixed, and unexpectedly.

They just sound in real time. It happens that in moments when a person is thinking deeply about something, he can hear the hint in the voice of the deceased.

Meetings with the souls of the dead in dreams

There are a lot of people saying that they dream of the dead. And the attitude towards such meetings in dreams is ambiguous. They scare some people, others try to interpret them, believing that such a dream contains an important message. And there are those who do not take dreams about the dead seriously. For them it's just a dream.

What are dreams about in which we see those who are no longer among us:

  • we receive various kinds of warnings about upcoming events;
  • in dreams we learn how the souls of the dead “settled” in another world;
  • we understand that they are asking for forgiveness for their actions during life;
  • through us they can convey messages to others;
  • the souls of the dead can ask the living for help.

One can list for a long time the probable reasons why the dead appear alive. Only those who dreamed about the deceased can understand this.

Regardless of how people receive signs from the deceased, it is safe to say that they are trying to get in touch with the living.

The souls of our loved ones continue to take care of us even while in the subtle world. Unfortunately, not everyone is and is not always ready for this kind of contact. Most often, this causes panic fear in people. Memories of loved ones are very deeply imprinted in our memory.

Perhaps in order to meet the departed, it is enough to open access to our own subconscious.

P.S. Did you have any contact with the deceased? Perhaps you know other signs left by the souls of the departed? Please share in the comments!

For a long time, people have been wondering where the souls of dead people go, whether they can somehow see the living and communicate with them. There are different opinions about this, but many people talk about how their deceased relatives talked to them.

Living people need to know and remember that the deceased is in another world, he has completely different affairs and concerns. He has left and there is no need to disturb him and call him back, he will not return and will not be able to talk, but each such call can cause suffering to the soul.

There is plenty of evidence that deceased people can see what is happening to their living relatives. Moreover, sometimes they make contact and warn of misfortunes. Soldiers talk about incredible incidents that happened during the war. A mother who has died quite a long time ago suddenly finds herself on the road and lets her son know that it is forbidden to walk or drive here. Subsequently, it turns out that if the guy had gone further, he would have inevitably fallen into the abyss or been blown up by a mine. Such cases allow us to claim that the dead see us, especially those related by blood.

Sometimes mystical fortune telling is carried out, in which fortune tellers call up the souls of dead people and ask them various questions. Oddly enough, if the ritual is performed correctly, then it is possible to get answers. Such rituals are considered a sin, because the dead cannot be disturbed; they are in a completely different world, from which they are unlikely to want to return. What's really going on? Probably, the astral essence of the deceased hears the call and sometimes responds to it. In this case, the spirit inhabits the medium and speaks with his voice and writes with his hands. There are witnesses who claim that the handwriting really looks like a letter from a person who has already passed away.

Such actions are generally considered a sin, but if they have already happened, then after fortune-telling it is necessary to utter words that will release the soul of the dead man into the other world. If you believe in such fortune-telling, then we can say that the dead see us, in addition, they know the past, present and future of everyone living on earth. Otherwise, how can they talk about events that have not yet happened? It is believed that within forty days after death, the deceased person not only sees his loved ones, but is able to appear to them in a translucent form.

Every person is free to believe or not to believe in the possibility of communication with the souls of the dead. Theologians consider such contacts to be heresy. That is, the one who has died will rise from the sleep of death when the end of this world comes and not before. The dead are in a special place where they must await the appointed end of the world. They remember everything that happened to them during life, the dead see us, they know what is happening and will happen to their relatives, but they have neither the right nor the opportunity to warn about misfortunes. Rare cases of contact are more likely to be the exception to the rule than the hope that everyone will someday be able to communicate with deceased loved ones.

Sometimes the souls of dead people come to a person in a dream. There have been cases when a dead man comes and calls you somewhere. In dreams everything is different, not the same as in real life, and the dreamer fulfills the request. Old people say that you can’t do this, because the dead man wants to take him with him. You cannot take anything from the hands of the deceased and there is no need to give anything, as this can cause you to get sick or even die. Even in scripture one can find contradictions about whether the dead see us or whether this is fantasy. In one place it is said that the souls of the dead are waiting, as in deep sleep, and are not connected with the ordinary world, in another - that they know that living people remember them.

Probably, living people would like to think that deceased relatives in their own way protect from troubles and sometimes warn, give signs - visible or invisible. How else can one explain the strange events that happen to some people? For example, it often happens that several people are late for a plane, and then it turns out that it crashed and everyone on board died. Some of the remaining ones had a prophetic dream and heeded the warning, another’s car broke down and he missed his flight, the third did not fly at the request of a loved one. Each of the survivors had a sign. Where did he come from, if not from the world of the dead?

When loved ones die, every person grieves for them. Priests say that you need to read special prayers in church so that the soul goes to the Lord and unites with him in heaven. So, when leaving for the next world, our relatives do not die at all, their souls remain alive and simply exist in another dimension? What happens to those who died without repentance, unbaptized? There is some difference between how to die and how to bury the dead. Therefore, there must be a difference in existence in the afterlife. It is impossible to answer unequivocally when asked whether the dead see the living.

Judging by the way the priests treat funerals and how the dead are remembered on certain days, we can say that even beyond the “border” souls exist in different conditions - there are righteous and sinners. There are those who were buried in the church and those who were not honored with such rituals. Nobody knows which of these souls has the opportunity to hear, see their relatives, and help them. Perhaps it is sinners who maintain contact with the living because they are unworthy of the kingdom of God. But the righteous have been in paradise for a long time and have forgotten about everyone who remained on earth. No one knows this for sure, but anything can be assumed.

People who meditate are able to make contact with the other world and talk with long-dead people. On the other hand, only those dead can see the living who are allowed to do so, or who have sufficient strength to cross the line between worlds.

Can the dead see the living - this is a question that worries, perhaps, every person. Whether it is possible to communicate with deceased parents or children - no one can know. Perhaps the one who communicates with souls is an unstable person with painful hallucinations. Or maybe they see and hear, but the living are not able to understand them.
